Assemble Your Team

Sum of Parts Greater than the Whole

As with any group effort, the individuals assembled to implement Cool The Earth will ultimately determine the success of the program. The Cool the Earth team is typically comprised of one or two parent volunteers, a teacher liaison, and a student club (great but not required). On average the program takes 12-16 hours of total volunteer time over the two month program. Each school needs one person to be the lead. We call this the Team Leader. It can be a parent or teacher at the school. Could this be YOU?

Little Effort, Big Results

Team Leaders receive the program manual, training videos, and downloadable program materials through the website’s Team Leader Portal. Some of the responsibilities shared among the volunteers include: planning the kick-off assembly, collecting and tracking coupons, conducting Action Spotlights, and communicating with the student club and teacher liaison. It’s a truly worthwhile and rewarding effort that will make a significant impact on climate change.
